Kingston - The Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority (CRCA) will change the fees it charges for applications relating to alterations to watercourses, shorelines, wetlands and other areas requiring a CRCA permit.
The new fees apply from May 1 and cover applications under Ontario Regulation 148/06, Development, Interference with Wetlands and Alterations to Shorelines and Watercourses. The fees apply throughout the CRCA jurisdiction from Napanee on the west to Brockville on the east to Newboro on the north.
These fees relate to alteration to the channel of a watercourse or a shoreline (e.g. culverts, docks, shoreline works) and development, filling and grading close to watercourses, valleys, wetlands and shorelines that require a CRCA permit.
