CRCA seeks volunteers interested in conservation

Kingston - The Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority (CRCA) is seeking volunteers to help with conservation activities at Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area.
The CRCA has a formal structure for volunteers called Friends Of Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area. CRCA Education Officer Stana Luxford is the organizer and contact person.

"We are planning a meeting for volunteers on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 5:30 p.m. here at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area Outdoor Centre," says Ms. Luxford. "Please call me at 546-4228, ext. 251 if you are interested, or, contact me by e-mail at educate@cataraquiregion.on.ca."

Volunteers may participate in several ways.

"Join our Friends group and share healthy activities with like-minded people interested in furthering our conservation programs," explains Ms. Luxford. "I encourage anyone interested to call me and learn more about the opportunities to volunteer."
