Comments Invited on Cataraqui Source Protection Area
Terms of Reference

The Cataraqui Source Protection Committee has published its proposed terms of reference, or work plan, for drinking water source protection activities. The proposed terms of reference include a work plan and budget for tasks under the Ontario Clean Water Act. The public is invited to review and comment on this document over the next month.

The terms of reference will determine which drinking water sources will be studied and how communities will be consulted as we work towards preparing a plan to protect drinking water sources. This is a long-term process which will be completed by 2012.

The revised document is available for review on the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority (CRCA) website at www.cataraquiregion.on.ca.

You can also view and make comments on the proposed terms of reference by visiting the CRCA Administration Office at 1641 Perth Road, Glenburnie from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

All comments received will be included by the Cataraqui Source Protection Authority in its submission of the proposed terms of reference to the Ontario Minister of the Environment.
