Volunteer at Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area

Maple Madness Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to assist with our Maple Madness program at Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area in March 2010. Program dates are:

March 13 to 21 (March Break)
March 27 and 28
April 3 and 4

Volunteers are needed to fill the following positions:

recycling and composting helper (helping the public place their recyclables and compostables in the proper bin in the Sugar Bush)
greeter (work at the Outdoor Centre or in the Sugar Bush providing information to visitors)
sugar bush helper (empty sap buckets, keep fires going, help with evaporator)
sugar shack helper (serve pancakes and drinks to visitors)
tour guide (conduct guided tours in the Sugar Bush)
puppeteer and helper (perform puppet shows in the Outdoor Centre)
